Guess what: October is coming, the Eat Local Aruba Restaurant Month!
Explore, discover and enjoy, says the poster of the upcoming Eat Local Aruba Restaurant Month. That is the idea behind this month-long event in October: everyone is invited to come and try the locally inspired dishes of the various restaurants on the island. And you can do so at a really nice price: $ 15 for lunch and dinner for $ 30.

At MooMba guests are in for a treat for lunch as well as for dinner. At lunchtime you get a choice between sweet potato soup with bacon bits or a ceviche made of local catch, marinated in limes. Main course choices are either a Club sandwich with french fries or spinach grouper with Caribbean rice.

Dinner at MooMba starts off with crab cakes with a spicy local papaya mayonnaise or a home-made creamy potato soup, while main course options are grouper stuffed with steamed spinach and tomatoes or a grilled brochette with beef, onions and bell peppers with polenta and a chimichurri sauce. Dessert is a home-made chocolate cake with banana ice cream or a caramel flan.

We are sure that you will greatly enjoy the specials at MooMba during the upcoming Eat Local Month. Bon provecho!
